Information to our guests
Welcome to Åre. Here you will find all the necessary information about your booking and other things that may be useful to know before it is finally time for your long-awaited holiday.
During summer and autumn, our opening hours are weekdays 9-16. During the winter season, our opening hours are 09-16 every day. During public holidays and public holidays, opening hours may change.
In case of emergency or last minute booking, we ask that you call us +46 647-515 00. When the reception is closed, you will be connected to our emergency service.
Check-in and check-out.
About a week before arrival, you will receive an email with important information, i.a. check-in and check-out times that apply to your particular accommodation. Should the accommodation become available before the specified time, it is fine to check in earlier. The reception staff then sends a text message (sms) to the person who made the reservation and tells them where to pick up the key. It is fine to check in outside our opening hours.
Luggage storage is available next to the reception at no extra cost. Safes are available for a fee (SEK 10). The WC is available for use during the reception's opening hours. In several houses such as Alpinhuset, Freestyle, ÅreParken, Dählie, Mitt i Åre 1 and 2 have their own luggage rooms. In some of the houses there is also access to a shower and toilet.
Check-out takes place no later than 10 a.m. on the day of departure. The key must then be left in the key box at AGO's reception. When you leave the apartment, remember that the dishes must be washed and/or the dishwasher started. The bed linen removed from the beds and the garbage carried out to the garbage can. Late check-out or inadequate cleaning may result in an additional charge. During winter, final cleaning is included in the price, during summer and autumn it is possible to buy extra.
Snow access
Ski in/ski out mode
Depending on the availability of snow, the distance to the slope may vary.
Snow shoveling
The weather changes quickly in the mountains. Snow and wind can quickly make driveways, parking lots and stairs dizzy again. A footpath shoveled in the morning can be completely covered an hour later. On days when it snows or has turned over and become slippery, we are out shoveling/anti-skid continuously at our accommodation. Certain lanes may be prioritized to ensure accessibility for emergency services. Please be patient, we will get to all of them.
